Project Description

Sunshine Coast beaches

The Sunshine Coast has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world (located only approximately 15-20 minutes driving distance from the Buderim Fiesta Motel) that attract visitors from around the globe each year. Each beach has its own unique beauty and appeal and there is nothing like the glorious feeling soaking up the splendour of nature on the Coast’s stunning pristine beaches.

Most of the Sunshine Coast beaches are patrolled by Life Guards and designated safe areas to swim are shown. Kids, adults and people of all ages love spending time on our beaches not only for the peaceful feeling evoked of being in the gorgeous ocean and taking in the beautiful scenery, however, but for many other reasons. Folks love playing all kinds of beach sports, swimming in the beautiful ocean and catching waves, body surfing and enjoying other beach activities.

If you fancy bringing a lunch with you, you’ll love the picnic and BBQ areas (some are undercover), beach-front parklands and the kids will enjoy the playgrounds. There is lots of parking usually close to the sand. Located in close driving distance to our motel are the following beaches, 1) Alexandra Headlands beach, 2) Mooloolaba beach and 3) Maroochydore beach. All are equally gorgeous and definitely worth a visit.

1) Alexandra Headlands beach

This magnificent beach is located in front of the Alexandra Headland Surf Lifesaving club and after you take a dip in the ocean, you can visit the shops, restaurants and cafes located near the beach. Alexandra Headland’s beach is known for being amazing for Malibu and Longboarding.

2) Mooloolaba beach

Mooloolaba beach is just beautiful and is situated in-front of the Mooloolaba Surf Lifesaving Club. You can enjoy a swim in the ocean, take a walk along the walking path and enjoy the beach view. As you stroll, you’ll find rocks which you can walk along and search for crabs and other creatures in the little rock pools. If you feel like a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner, there’s plenty of dining places along the esplanade that you can enjoy a meal or even a coffee or juice. The esplanade has many varieties of clothing, jewellery and other kinds of shops that you can look at.

3) Maroochydore beach

This attractive/popular beach is loved by surfers, fishermen, and kite surfing lovers and everyone else!!!! It is a dog-friendly beach and people flock to this beach to enjoy a swim and enjoy many other activities including yoga and palates.

A must see for all visitors

The Sunshine Coast Beaches are a popular attraction for locals and visitors alike. There’s nothing more refreshing than to take a swim in our beautiful magnificent ocean, enjoying the blue sky and relax on the unspoiled sand. If you want to take a delightful romantic walk, you can enjoy this at sunset and see the lovely colour formations in the vast sky. Our beaches are also ideal for jogging, volley ball and other recreational activities! Come and enjoy some of the best beaches in the world while visiting the coast.
